Philosophy
Jake is a firm believer in the inherent strength and resiliency that lie within each and every one of us. Regardless of what we have been through, he believes that we can all learn and grow from our experiences. That beauty can be found even in the darkest corners of our lives, and that by having accountability to ourselves we can all grow the be the people we are meant to be.

My Story
Jake graduated from the University of Phoenix with a degree in business management before he began his career in mental health. He then moved on to graduate with his MSW from Utah State University.
Jake has an unorthodox career path that transitioned from sales and led him into the mental health field to do more meaningful work. He has worked in community mental health as a caseworker, therapist, and crisis interventionist. He has spent time working in hospitals and has worked with special education students in school settings, crisis intervention, and individual therapy.
Since Jake began his career in behavior and mental health, he has worked with people of all ages, helping them to find their best selves. He has worked with children and adolescents, adults, seniors, and families within various therapeutic settings. Jake has expertise working with people in various circumstances, including those from the foster system, youth/adults with conduct-related disorders, substance abuse, and attachment disorders.
